The process of adding product images to your site can be time consuming
- Resize your images in your photo-editting programme
- Upload them via FTP to your site
- Manually specify the URL link to the image in the product admin
The Image Uploader mod takes the hard work out of this process! Run entirely from the product admin page, the process couldn't be simpler and more efficient. Once you've specified the dimensions you would like the thumbnails and large images to be (e.g. 100px and 350px), go to the product admin page and click New Product/Modify Product:
- AJAX driven upload system which means images can be uploaded in a single click and will load on the page without having to refresh
- You just have to choose the image from your PC once by clicking the browse button (i.e. no need to do this for both the small and large image fields) (click for screenshot)
- Wait a couple of seconds for the thumbnail image to preview on the page
- And that's it! You'll then have a thumbnail and a large image to the exact dimensions you require
- Supports images in JPEG, GIF, or PNG format
