Having good, clear page titles is essential for high search-engine rankings on engines such as Google or Yahoo. Without this, your site may struggle to get the listing it deserves.
You may have already optimised your sites product detail pages to contain unique page titles, i.e. the product name will appear as the page title (as on ECT Web Design's product detail pages). This mod, however, will allow you to specify unique page titles for the
categories.php
and
products.php
pages straight from the
admin area
without having to manually create static pages. You can then add the exact page title content you want with ease - maybe specific keywords or phrases..
